The Foreign Ministry is pleased to announce to the global family its “Ambassador at Large” programme and its latest appointees.
These appointees follow on the heels of the programme’s first appointee “Prophet Don Dada” a Reggae / Hip-Hop entertainer and youth advocate whose work is distributed via Tuff Gong International & Content Connect Africa.
Our recent appointees have indicated their willingness to act as Global Ambassadors in keeping with the terms and conditions of the “Ambassador at large” programme. They have agreed to represent the State of the African Diaspora (SOAD) and the Economic Community of the Sixth Region (ECO-6).
Subsequent communiques will outline the upcoming programme for each respective appointee.
Our distinguished appointees are as follows:
Global Music Fraternity
- Denroy Morgan – Accomplished artiste, Musician and Patriarch of the world renown Morgan Family.
- Laza Morgan – Artiste, Musician and the younger sibling of the Morgan Family. He is known for most recent global Reggae hit from his collaboration with Reggae Dancehall star Mavado.
- Morgan Heritage – World renown Reggae group known globally for countless hits and household names on Continental Africa and the Diaspora.
Medical and Social Advocacy
- Dr. Julius Garvey – Accomplished Medical Doctor, student Pan-Africanist and son of the late great Philosopher, Pioneer and Global Giant, the Rt. Excellent Marcus Mosiah Garvey, Jamaica’s First National Hero.
An Official Launch and a full programme of activities will be provided in subsequent releases for the programme and each respective appointee. The Foreign Ministry wishes to thank everyone who were instrumental in us achieving this monumental and most important milestone.
