 The Parliament

Our Parliament

The State of the African Diaspora (SOAD) is building its own democratic model, and is proud to do so.  In 2023, we will have general elections, and all the citizens will vote. But in 2020, we had an internal process of election to designate the leaders within the Parliament. Here they are :

Leaders of the Parliament

The Members of Parliament of the State of the African Diaspora are not expected to legislate on African countries, nor on the countries of the diaspora, of course. But they vote for our own legislation, for the budget, and they work to build development projects that strengthen Africa, the diaspora, or both of them.

The full representation of Members of Parliament worldwide when complete will be :-

-100 MPs representing Central America & Caribbean,

-100 MPs representing North America,
