My life long passion is that my life is not in vain, that I can help and be remembered for making a difference in just one life. Thus, my zeal for Pan Africanism. We have many great leaders of the past, many great leaders among us and many great leaders here in SOAD. I endeavor to reach out to government and Chieftaincy to further Pan Africanism. After repatriation to W. Africa, I obtained the knowledge and truth of who melinated people really are. I learned our history, my feet touched the soil of the Motherland, and I have not looked back, but looking forward to what lies ahead, most of which will be achieved through The State of the African Diaspora, 6th Region of Africa. I admonish my fellow colleagues to be inclusive of all the diversities in our quest for unification, keep an open mind, there is much to learn in order to achieve our goal. We must not just lead, but follow and make others coming great leaders from our experience. I consider it a blessing and a privilege to have met and work closely with so many of you all over the world. Our diversity and being a State without boarders gives us unlimited opportunities.

Question 3 :- Who is your favourite character in Panafrican history, and why?

Kwame Nkrumah.  His vision and insight for uniting Africa was great, the timing and people were not there yet.

“Countrymen, the task ahead is great indeed, and heavy is the responsibility; and yet it is a noble and glorious challenge – a challenge which calls for the courage to dream, the courage to believe, the courage to dare, the courage to do, the courage to envision, the courage to fight, the courage to work, the courage to achieve ~ Kwame Nkrumah

“I am not African because I was born in Africa but because Africa was born in me.” ~ Kwame Nkrumah

This is how I feel, breathe and think, Africa was born in me!

Question 4  :-  With the onset of technology and investment in Africa, how do you see Africa in the 21st Century ?

Technology has bought about sight and communication. The whole world can now see Africa for its true value & identity, enabling a broader aspect for advancement through investment and technology. Its value was only seen by few, as distorted images of a backward 3rd world country dominated the minds of other nations. Now, we see, Africa is powerful, the people motivated and hard working, especially the Youth. A new era is here. We all are working to change that image, bring prosperity to all, not a few, better infrastructure, roads, education with great hope & anticipation for our Motherland. It’s time to heal and take back our heritage, culture, and pride.

Question 5 :- What are you planning to do in the future for the State of the African Diaspora?

My desire and goal is to unite us. This is not a simple task among our people. I will promote our State to show all Pan Africans, African leaders and Chieftaincy that SOAD is a source and power to re-unite and build, while being transparent, reputable, diplomatic, and respectful of our many African traditions and cultures. This can only be achieved with an open mind and a willingness to meet one another on common ground….. building back our homeland!
