PRESS RELEASE ON THE PASSING OF THE PRESIDENT OF TANZANIA, JOHN POMBE MAGUFULI
I, the Prime Minister and on behalf of the State of the African Diaspora and its citizens, convey our sincere condolences to the First lady of Tanzania Janeth Magufuli, their children and the entire Magufuli family in hearing of the loss of the President of Tanzania, John Pombe Magufuli.
The State also expresses its deepest sympathy to our brothers and sisters of the country of Tanzania.
President Magufuli was an inspiration and had a great influence over the African diaspora and many diaspora had repatriated to Tanzania due to his leadership qualities. The diaspora had taken President Magufuli as their own because of the admiration of the great works, achievements and milestones he had accomplished during his terms in office, that he will surely be missed by us all.
We, the State of the African Diaspora are in mourning, but we rejoice in the legacy that this great leader has left us to remember with his great contributions to his country and his people and the stellar example he had exhibited to the global Pan-African family.
