Recruited three months ago only, Sahil Singh has already done a lot. As an advisor of the Prime Minister and Special Envoy to India, he is working endlessly to establish more connections between India and the State Of the African Diaspora.
On December 9th, Mr Singh was invited to discuss about this with Mr. Anupam Kumar Nag, Private Secretary to the President of India. In the previous days and weeks, Mr Singh had already met different ministers of the Government of the Prime Minister of India, His Excellency Narendra Modi. So, it is the naturel continuation of this diplomatic strategy. More details will be disclosed in a few weeks about this cooperation between SOAD and India.
The Prime Minister told to his advisor : « We are very glad to have you on board, dear Sahil. You are one of us, and you are doing a great job. Our diplomacy cannot be focused on the western world only. It has to be connected with Asia also, in general, and India in particular. That is why your actions are so important to us. »
Then, Sahil Singh answered : « To create a bridge between Africa and India through the State of the African Diaspora is what I am trying to do. I am very honoured to work for SOAD. It is an unprecedented initiative with already impressive results. I received a great mission from the Prime Minister, and it is a great privilege for me to work directly with him. »
