May 25th 2020 – For the African Liberation Day, a ground breaking initiative has emerged : launched by the State of the African Diaspora (SOAD) and the Economic Community of the 6th Region (ECO-6), is the Citizenship ID Card of SOAD and ECO-6. This new ID is to create a new citizenship and common unity for the Afro-desendant members of the African Diaspora.

Created in two colours, Gold and Platinum, this ID includes several security features against any kind of fraud, such as nano text and holographic overlays.
Dr Louis-Georges Tin, Prime Minister of the State of the African Diaspora said –
‘’In many countries of the world, as a result of history, People of African Descent remain undocumented, or are regarded as second class citizens ; now, with this new ID, their citizenship will be fully recognised in the context of the African Diaspora’’
Hon. Timothy McPherson, Chief of the ECO-6 stated –
‘’That is why this ID is not only a matter of administration. It is a matter of pride, of reparation and reconstruction’’
Keturah Amoako, Vice Prime Minister of the SOAD added :
‘’the State of the African Diaspora has formed an alliance with several organisations to form The Exodus Alliance who will be Livestreaming an event – Africa Day 2020 – on 25 May at which the announcement of the registration will be officially made’’.

The State of the African Diaspora now invites the individuals of the African Diaspora to become Citizens of ECO-6, the 6th Region of the African Union.
