Question 1:- Please could you introduce yourself ?
My name is Rodenay Joseph, and i am originally from Haiti, grew up in the US. I am a US Army war veteran, i have held a masters in Diplomacy and military studies. I have held equivalent to a masters in logistics. I am also a motivational speaker that gave forum for the youth, encourage them to love and embrace their cultures, and educate themselves about black history.
Question 2:- What is your vision of Panafricanism ?
To unite every melanin citizens across the globe, assist them with training to be self relient and resilient, how to be productive for themselves and their communities. Connect the motherland with the rest of the world make Africa become the power house we once were.
Question 3:- Who is your favourite character in Pan-african history, and why?
Thomas Sankara and Marcus Garvey, their teaching is a relevent as today as it was 40 years ago, we need to know ourselves before we can let and show the world who we are. As long as we do not apreciate and have respect for ourselves no one else will have the respect for us.
Question 4:- With the onset of technology and investment in Africa, how do you see Africa in the 21st Century ?
First level is a fallacy to even say Africa is behind in technology, take a look at the last 10 years invention nearly 6 out 10 was created by an african either out of the motherland, we have the talent we need to create the oportunity for the youth to start initiative and experiment with their ideas, we need to stop seeking validation of the occidentals, their vision is not ours.
Question 5:- What initiatives and projects have manifested through your position within the State of the African Diaspora ?
My main objective is to form 5 brigades that will be combat ready and logistically ready to face our problem world wide, to us and by us and for us. This is an ambitious task and not an easy one, but with the will of our people and determination once the corona flight restriction are over, we will start working non stop to at least put together our first brigade.
Question 6:- What are you planning to do in the future for the State of the African Diaspora?
I dedicated my life for SOAD to push our agendas every place i have the opportunity to step my foot in. Our ideology of self love does not translate hate for others, we need to be clear about that. I am willing to defend and protect SOAD policies with all integrity and keep on pushing our ideas and ideology world wide.
