Question 1: Please introduce yourself
Greetings to all of you. I am from Reunion Island. Married with children. I first came to SOAD as ambassador for the Indian Ocean, then I became Minister of Historical Legacy. I am also the Co-chair of the Royal Chamber of the State of the African Diaspora.
Question 2: What is your vision of PanAfricanism?
Pan-Africanism is first of all the visions, the heritage of all the great Pan-Africanists who preceded us. To me, it is a free and united Africa. Africans and People of African Descent from all over the world forming the 6th region, re-unified to the 54 countries of the five other regions in the United State of Africa. Pan-Africanism must also be the vision of all the people, politicians and friends of Africa without whom this could not happen. Pan-Africanism is the wheel that turns and leads Africa to its rebirth. Pan-Africanism is possible when people rediscover the essence of our humanity, when we form a unity with the source, with God, with Nature. When the World is one. When people activate their creative genius and generosity to let each and every one be what he/she is meant to be, a human being in transition. A spiritual self of the universe.
Pan-Africanism is the result of a peaceful and unified planet.
Question 3 : Who is your favourite character in PanAfrican History?
I do consider them all, according to their merit.
Question 4 : With the onset of technology and investment in Africa, how do you see Africa in the 21st Century?
Africa will be what Africans profoundly want her to be. They must have great ambitions for their continent. I see Africa united with all the African diaspora in the SOAD Smart cities. I see those living outside travelling to Africa for holidays and connecting to their families. I see her the way we in SOAD have already imagined (in media, press release on our website).
I can see the ancestors delighted to be watching all this from up there. I see people throughout the world at peace; evolved because finally wisdom has got the better of them all.
With precious and sincere help, the 21st Century will be Africa’s. If only every one does their share, the cradle of humanity could welcome into its fold all people of goodwill for the benefits of all.
Question 5 : What are you planning to do in the future for the State of the African Diaspora?
I am the Minister of Historical Legacy and the program is vast.
I will continue what I started in the first mandate. I work with the Vice-prime Minister, Queen Houindokon, on restoration, restitution and reparation for Africans and for the African-descents. I am in charge of the National Days of SOAD. I work on the digitalization of the Slave route. I will unify Africans and African-descents through cultural, culinary, sporting, recreational heritage etc, at festivals of reconnection. I will give a label called PATCH to NGO’s asking for their heritage to be recognized. The Pan-African Traditional and Cultural Heritage (PATCH)
The Label’s symbolic mission is to repair the damage caused by the slave trade, to unify what had been separated.
I work on restoration of kingdoms of the Royal Chamber. On economical exchanges between them. The list of my missions is not exhaustive. I will help connect other diasporas to the State of African Diaspora. Alone we go faster but united we go further.
